WildCat Expeditions (“WildCat,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit wildcatexpeditions.com (the “Site”), contact us, or book/join our trips and related services (the “Services”). If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site or Services.

1) Who we are (Controller)
WildCat Expeditions is the controller of personal information processed through the Site and in connection with our Services. If you are located in the EEA/UK, “controller” has the meaning in the GDPR/UK GDPR.

We collect information in three ways: (a) directly from you, (b) automatically through the Site, and (c) from third parties (e.g., payment and booking providers).
a) Information you provide
Contact details: name, email, phone, country/region, preferred language.
Booking details: trip selection, travel dates, group size, dietary restrictions, emergency contact, passport/ID details where needed to operate the trip, and any special requests.
Payment information: we use third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Communications: messages you send via forms, email, WhatsApp or social media.
Marketing preferences: newsletter opt-in/opt-out choices.
Media consent: permission to use photos/videos captured during trips (see Section 9).
b) Information collected automatically
Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps.

c) Information from third parties
Booking/Payment platforms and travel partners: confirmation and status of your booking, payments, refunds, and basic profile data necessary to provide the Services.

7) Your privacy rights

California (CCPA/CPRA)

9) Photography & media from trips
WildCat Expeditions conducts wildlife trips where photography is common. We may capture photos or video during operations:
We will ask for your consent to use identifiable images of you for marketing (website, social media, brochures).
You may opt out at any time by telling your guide and emailing info@wildcatexpeditions.com.
Media focused solely on landscapes/wildlife without identifying you may be used without additional consent.
10) Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11) Third-party links and integrations
The Site may link to third-party websites, booking widgets, maps, or social media. Their privacy practices are not covered by this Policy. Please review their policies before providing information.
12) Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us to delete it.
